In its first year of
its operation (1994-95), the company registered sales of Rs.4.40 million,
which shot up to Rs.1863.15 million in 2006-07 – a quantum leap.
Exports sales were placed at Rs.1004 million in FY 08-09. Due to
strong order book position from local as well as overseas markets, the
company's production facilities for Aluminum Foil Containers has been
operating at 80% capacity, its Lids at 100% capacity and Aluminum Foil
Rolls at about 87%. This is in view of the manufacturing of small sized
casseroles and containers which reduces the manufacturing capacity of
the plants. Thus, the plants are operating at their rated capacity.
It may also be noted that the export of the company grew from Rs.39.40
million in FY 2000-01 to Rs.1004 million in FY 2008-09
.
The first 3 months of FY 2009-10 registered a total sales figure of
Rs.1260.05 million with net Profit stood at Rs.98.30 million, thus demonstrating a marked
improvement in the sales for domestic as well as overseas markets and
in the Net profit.
Apart from improving topline, the company has been consistently showing
profits since its inception. The bottom line has improved to Rs.381.40
million in FY 2008-09 from a meager Rs.0.29 million in FY 1994-95, the
first year of commercial production, resulting in an overall EPS of
Rs.29.48. |
